1879 Death - Ferdinand Frederick
1871 Census - Ferdinand
1870 Son Willliams birth certificate - Fredrick
1867 Marriage - Frederick
1866 Emigration  - Ferdinand

Frederick was married to Maria Egner on 26 May 1867 age 20, hence birth 1846/7.
Ferdinand Frederick died in Q1 1879
Maria is in the 1881 census as the head of the family including William
The marriage certificate lists Christain Scheu as his father.

Ancestry.com want $80 dollars for further info, but shows the following emigrant from Wuettemberg to England: Freidrich Christ, Carl (is it the same man?)

OK, so his name is Ferdinand not Frederick - maybe it's an angicisation, but everything else is spot on. [Age is a bit out, I would have expected 23 to match the marriage cert)

Death MAR 1879 Bradford Y 9b 54 as Ferdinand Frederick 31

Email from Karl-Heinz Wüstner 13/7/2017

Dear Pete,

I found your g-g-grandfather in the family books of the civil registry at Künzelsau. He was born there on 29th July 1847 and he was baptized as Christian Ferdinand. He was the 16th child of Christian Friedrich Scheu, a tailor and the second to the last. He was a half-brother of Ludwig August Scheu, the "Münsterbaumeister in Ulm". Ludwig August was the 4th child, which explains the gap of 17 years between the two births. Ten of the 17 children died in infancy.

Parents of Ludwig August Scheu (Künzelsau 1. August 1830 - 7. November1880 Ulm):
Christian Friedrich Scheu (Künzelsau 24. May 1797 - 23. January 1850 Künzelsau) married I. on 28. September 1825 at Künzelsau
Sophie Christine Auerbach (Künzelsau 17. Juli 1802 - 8. December 1840 Künzelsau) The Auerbachs were a watchmaker family.

Parents of Christian Ferdinand Scheu (Künzelsau 29. July 1847 - 09. January 1879 Bradford)
Christian Friedrich Scheu (Künzelsau 24. May 1797 - 23. January 1850 Künzelsau) married II. on 20. June 1840 at Künzelsau
Susanne Margarethe Wüst (Künzelsau 21. October 1814). She married again after the death of her husband, see the Künzelsau Church Archive Family register I, p. 339

Grandparents of Christian Ferdinand Scheu were:

I. Georg Kaspar Scheu of Künzelsau, a shoemaker and
   Marie Dorothea Ungerer

II. Johann Christian Wüst of Künzelsau, a sievemaker and
    Margarethe Barbara Runkel

It is probably possible to go one or two generations further back in the books of the Künzelsau Church Archive which are kept at the Central Protestant church Archive at Stuttgart. Perhaps the archive are already available online.

The entry in the Bradford Protestant Church Archive says: SCHEU, Ferdinand Friedrich: born 29. 07.1849 [sic!] in Künzelsau, Wurtemburg; butcher and parish council, living in Bradford from 1867 with 5 children, died 09.11.1879 aged 31 years 5 months 10 days at 152 Leeds Road Bradford, buried at Undercliff Cemetery.

So far I don't know whether there are any descendants still living at Künzelsau.
It may well be that the following children also emigrated to England (or somewhere else) :
No. 3 Sofie Friederike Elise
No. 10 Gottlob Wilhelm Josef
No. 13 Hermann Wilhelm Christian

I attached two photos and a word document of a SHY family who also seem to stem from the Künzelsau Scheu family. Perhaps you can contact them
There are also two photos attached showing the two Scheu pages in the Künzelsau Civil Registry which I photographed this afternoon.

This morning I will fly to Leeds and stay there (in Rawdon) until Monday 17th. I have my laptop with me and can answer emails. My mobile phone number is 0049-175-6 888 989.

Best wishes
Karl-Heinz

Maria Burkards birthday book in the possesion of Hilda Higgins (2004) shows Albert Edward SCHEU as being born 15 January 1898. The likely conclusion is that they are the same.

The earlier date or 1891 I had of Edwins birth now seems unlikely.

1901 census shows Thomas Angood (40) b.March cambs., and Mary E Angood (40) b. Farnley, Yorks.,with Elsie in  Battersea
LDS records (IGI) have Thomas Angood Marrying Mary Elizabeth Firth 15APR1881 in New Wortley, Yorks - not too far from Farnley.
1881census has a Tom Angood of Chatteris (18)  (near March) living with his father (and no other Thomas Angood)
LDS records (IGI) has a Thomas Herbert Augustus Angood christened in Chatteris 17 Sep 1871 with the birth recorded as 25 SEP 1862

Birth dates 1APR1860-31MAR1861 (1901), 4APR1862-3APR1863 (1881), 25SEP1862. The 1901 is two years out, but could have rounded up to 40. However only approx DOB and general location ties the two halves together, however the 1901 date and place of birth is the only one provided by Tom himself.
The only TA death on FreeBMD is 1904, Wandsworth 1d 2(8)5, age 4(6). OK, so near Battersea (1901), but has aged three extra years - DOB ~1957/8
